Jzoo Launches Myanmar’s First Online Loyalty Program

Jzoo
A new online loyalty program, Jzoo, has launched in Myanmar that will enable retailers in the country to create a digital presence with no upfront investment in technology.
Jzoo, which is a plug-and-play platform, will offer partners the ability to run online to offline promotions, and claims to provide online and mobile marketing capabilities within ten minutes.
As part of the 12-month, no commitment trial, Jzoo is now offering a quick setup loyalty platform that makes creating, offering and redeeming benefits easier for retailers, the company said.
“Digital is going to be integral to Myanmar’s economic growth. Businesses understand that online will be an important platform for growth but there’s a huge gap between understanding and implementing, which is where Jzoo comes in,” said Jzoo Founder Rita Nguyen.
“We want to empower retailers to harness the power of technology for their businesses with ease. Jzoo offers merchants the ability to join the digital age with no disruption or investment and allowing them to focus on their core business.”
Jzoo will let its members earn points and redeem for rewards at their favourite local businesses by scanning the sticker or app on the provided Android tablets in store.
Jzoo said its members can also join without any technology know how. Jzoo can be downloaded as an Android app or accessed through a personal sticker at any of its partner locations, therefore removing dependencies on technology.
“We wanted to create something that every Myanmar person could join, not just those with smart phones,” said Rita Nguyen.
“Using Jzoo is a very simple process that happens on an Android tablet that is at our partner locations. We built this with the understanding that in many cases, this will be the first time that the member may have ever used a touch screen so everything had to be scaled down to be as simple as possible,” she added.
In a few weeks since its beta launch, Jzoo has seen more than 20,000 scans at over 100 partner locations throughout Yangon and Mandalay, the company said.
