The ASEAN Economic Community English Centre in partnership with UTS:INSEARCH, the English language provider for the University of Technology Sydney, was launched recently.
This school is founded to assist Myanmar students develop English language capabilities needed for successful international study and careers, UTS:INSEARCH said in a statement.
“The curriculum used by AEC English Centre is purpose-built for ambitious students planning on studying at university or intending to work in an international context,” Managing Director of UTS:INSEARCH Alex Murphy said.
Managed by Director of Studies Theresa Mattingly, AEC English Centre offers a new campus situated in Yangon’s Central Business District.
Classrooms are equipped to an international-standard, and all course materials can be accessed in digital format online or via e-books which features interactive games and exercises to encourage and help students learn faster.
AEC English Centre will be the exclusive provider of UTS:INSEARCH Academic English course in Myanmar. The curriculum, developed by Masters-qualified and Cambridge University-accredited teachers, involved an investment of $1.7 million.
