KTZ Ruby Hill Securities Company, which will operate as a brokerage company at the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX), has opened its office.
KTZ Ruby Hill Company is a joint venture between KT ZMICO Securities Company from Thailand, which invested 49 percent, and Ruby Hill Financial Company from Myanmar, said Dr Sai Sam Tun, chairperson of KTZ Ruby Hill Securities Company.
“The KT ZMICO Company is currently operating in other Southeast Asian stock markets. Our company has just started and we have to learn many things about the stock market. That’s why we are cooperating with the company to better our technology,” said Dr Sai Sam Tun.
Ten securities companies were given underwriter licenses to operate in Yangon Stock Exchange market and each company had to give K15 billion in paid-up capital.
Local companies who need financial investment can cooperate with foreign companies to enter to Yangon Stock Exchange in order to get more capital, Securities Exchange Commission officials said earlier.
