Double Rhinos to Double Production as Demand Surges

Local cement maker Double Rhinos Cement plans to double its production to 10,000 tonnes in the year 2016, according to an announcement.
“Double Rhinos brand cement is focusing on maintaining its quality standards and currently producing 5,000 tonnes of cement daily. But as demand is growing we plan to double the production in 2016,” said Wachirawich, general manager of Arr Thit Mann Company, which is in charge of distribution of Double Rhinos Cement.

Double Rhinos Cement is jointly managed – distribution is handled by Arr Thit Mann Company while Thantaw Myat Company is responsible for production.
Chief Engineer of Arr Thit Mann Company U Myint Aung said, “Our production methods are in line with European standards. To prevent environmental impacts we use the dry process in our production.”
The cement plant, located in Kyaukse in Mandalay region, was established in 2012 with an investment of K20 billion.
